My Approach
Your Guide to Comprehensive Nutritional Therapy
Nutritional therapy takes a science-based, comprehensive look at the underlying causes of health issues. As your Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP), I'm here to support you every step of the way. Here’s what you can expect from our work together:
My Process
1. In-depth Evaluation
We'll start with a comprehensive questionnaire to assess your signs and symptoms.
You'll track your food intake for a short period.
I'll analyze lifestyle factors like cookware, water quality, and potential toxic exposures.
If helpful, we'll look at your lab tests and genetic information to create a nutrition plan that's just right for your body.
2. Personalized Action Plan
Together, we’ll prioritize changes that will have the biggest impact, then build on those step by step.
We'll build incrementally to establish sustainable habits.
The focus is on education and empowerment.
3. Key Components
Customized food and lifestyle recommendations.
High-quality, third-party tested supplements (if necessary).
Guidance on making informed choices in restaurants and grocery stores.
Education on product selection and avoiding harmful substances.
4. Ongoing Support
You'll have access to me via the chat feature on Practice Better between visits.
I'll send weekly check-in emails to assist with implementing changes.
We’ll have virtual follow-up sessions every 3-4 weeks to review your progress.
My Role as Your Nutritionist
Think of me as your knowledgeable guide and educator, not someone who imposes strict rules. We're partners in your health journey, where:
You're in the driver's seat.
Your effort and perseverance are key to creating lasting change.
I provide expert knowledge, tools, and strategies.
You apply these insights to make informed decisions about your health.
My Philosophy
Realistic Expectations: Some changes will be quick and easy, while others may take more time. For example, recovering from Leaky Gut typically requires a minimum of 3 months.
Long-term Focus: We're here for sustainable solutions, not quick fixes. Years of accumulated health issues can't be resolved overnight.
Flexibility: We go beyond rigid meal plans to fit your lifestyle.
Personalization: We tailor complex health topics to your individual needs.
Our Goals Together
Empower you to make informed choices about your health.
Help you understand your unique body and develop skills for long-lasting health.
Ensure you feel confident in maintaining your health long after our sessions conclude.
This collaborative approach ensures that you develop a deep understanding of your body's needs and the skills to maintain optimal health long after our sessions conclude. Remember, lasting change is a journey, and I'm here to support you every step of the way.

What is the Nutritional Assessment Questionnaire (NAQ)?
The Nutritional Assessment Questionnaire (NAQ) is a comprehensive tool that evaluates over 300 signs and symptoms in your body.
This detailed assessment helps me:
Identify potential nutritional deficiencies
Uncover imbalances in your body systems
Determine which organs or bodily functions may need the most nutritional support
The patterns that emerge from your responses provide valuable insights into your overall health. This information guides me in creating a personalized nutrition plan that addresses your unique needs and health goals.
By using the NAQ, we can pinpoint areas of concern that might be overlooked in standard health assessments, allowing for a more targeted and effective approach to improving your wellbeing through nutrition.
